We are incredibly proud to share a special milestone for Hawaiian Building Maintenance. At Hawaiʻi Business Magazine’s second annual Excellence in Business Awards, HBM walked away with not one, not two, but three awards!
We were honored to receive:
- Excellence in Business Honoree
- Economic Impact Award
- 2nd Place – Hawaiʻi’s Largest Organization
Going into the ceremony, we were already grateful to be recognized as an Excellence in Business Honoree. Receiving two additional awards came as an incredible surprise and made the celebration even more meaningful for our team.
While these awards carry the HBM name, they truly belong to the people behind it.
For nearly 70 years, HBM has been built by hardworking people who show up every day to care for Hawaiʻi’s buildings, businesses, and communities. From our teams working on-site each day to our supervisors, managers, engineers, operations teams, and office staff, every person plays a part in where we are today.
The Economic Impact Award is especially meaningful because it represents something bigger than our company. As HBM has grown, so has our ability to create local jobs, support businesses and properties throughout the islands, and contribute to the communities we call home.
Being recognized among Hawaiʻi’s Largest Organization is another milestone we are incredibly proud of. What started in Hawaiʻi in 1957 has grown into a company supported by hundreds of employees, longstanding client relationships, and generations of hard work.
And being named an Excellence in Business Honoree brings all of that together. It is a recognition of how far we have come, the people who have helped us get here, and the responsibility we have to continue moving forward with purpose.
